I put a set on a 12 bolt awhile back and had no issues with my caliper bracket. From what I remember, , my bracket mounted to the back of the flange, so the eliminator was a non issue

In my situation the spacer would move the rotor too far out from the caliper, especially if the bracket was on the back of the flange.
