Tucking company calls me at 4:15 pm yesterday afternoon, they can have a truck there in 45 minutes!!

I wasn't sure if I was ready or not, certainly wasn't expecting them until Wednesday at the earliest. The lot out back hadn't melted much and everything was starting to freeze back up again so I said sure, send him on.

I won't go into all of the details, but the car is now safely on a truck headed for Scottsdale. It wasn't easy, by any stretch...but it's on the truck still clean and still in one piece.

Glad you got it on okay.

I figured there would be a few people in this type of situation considering it is January.

What transport company did you use?

We contracted with Enclosed Vehicle Transport which we've used before, but apparently they just sell the job the broker it out to whichever driver\truck is available.

Every time before the driver's have showed up with a big nice stacker trailer with a tailgate ramp.

The driver yesterday showed up with an old school stacker hauler with 30' ramps to drive up into the trailer on. The inside of the trailer looked like an open car hauler with all of the ramps and hydraulics etc with just the skin of an enclosed trailer around it all. The ramps made it a bit more than a challenge with this car to say the least. The cam in that engine doesn't prefer low RPM lugging.

Howbout that storm Lance? That was some fun.. I was hoping for more snow.. that I can handle, but -14º, not so much. The neighborhood kids never came around to shovel the driveway.. image that. Had to do it myself.

Glad you got the car moved. I always liked Passport Transport. No brokers, they are their own shipping company. They are more, but are worth it IMO. They have a dock and are located in St. Louis.
