Sieg, when did the latest gen Hurst come out? Just curious if that is the one I have. I bought my T56 from Hurst Drivelines in late 2011.

The initial run started shipping September 2013.

I bought a Core shifter with a 7.5" Hurst chrome stick and it has worked great since day one.

Yup, I have a Core Shifter as well, and have no issues. I went with them because I have a GTO T56 and they make a shifter to put it in the FBody location without changing the shifter cup.

Just for general information, you can get an MGW-P shifter from here that's already modified for the GTO: http://www.proxsestuning.com/apps/we...s/show/2196016

Darned expensive though. It's cheaper just to get the shifter cup if you want to go that way. I found that part for under $60 so my MGW, going onto my GTO transmission cost me $250 (5% forum discount). I was worried in might be a PITA to change the shifter cup but it literally took 5 minutes.
