Okie Dokie ...

In road racing, we use shocks with quick disconnect hose canisters. They typically come with the shocks from the manufacturer. I "thought" the aftermarket quick disconnects (that hold pressure) we use for brake lines, hydraulic clutch lines, etc ... might work. Not. Because the Ridetech hoses uses an ORB fitting with special threads, the commonly available hose quick disconnects (with AN or NPT Threads) will not connect.

But Seals It DOES offer split 2-piece seals that are 4.5" OD to cover the 3" holes for the canister to go through, just as Herb mentioned above. I carry them HERE.

Reminder: To those that don't already know this ... do not disconnect the hoses off your shocks ... as pressure & oil will come out.

Default Mounting remote shock reservoirs...rear

I mounted mine to underside of my 84 Grand National frame behind wheel.
Copied location from Ridetech's Chevelle. FWIW, the adjusting screw is sealed against weather so rain, dust, etc coming off rear tires will not be a problem.
