Don't worry that happens with age at least to people! You'll have a swinging new rear in no time!!

I asked Scott to play with the rear hubs, would be nice to get matching wheel bolt patterns and lug nuts. He thinks he can open up the rear knuckle to fit a Corvette rear hub. Bolt pattern is the same. The pics show one one of my front hubs, which are dimensionally the same as the rear Vette hub.

We're measuring to be sure the rear Camaro Brembo brakes will fit. If not, pretty sure ZO6 brakes will. Or Baers... since I have them in the front.

The rusty hub is the Camaro rear.

Now the only piece of the puzzle is axle shafts and their splines.

Thanks Ron, do you know if they share the same spline size for the axle shaft engagement?

I can not comment on that JJ. I've only played with the C6 hubs.

I bet Matt Jones at AME would know.

Thanks for the response. I am not sure it's fair for me to call him. I am not buying their product.

We'll find out when the rear hubs come in. May have to do custom axle shafts regardless.

It's been a bad day for the Camaro... first the rear end falls out, then the entire engine, trans and sub frame drops out.

Fortunately, Scott made a cart to haul around the new one... and it's all going in soon.

Seems like most of the ed-construction is done. We have a new column, slave cyl with bracket, new intermediate steering shaft, new steering ujoints and hydro booster to go on the firewall. New exhaust, new trans, new engine, new front subframe, new rear suspension...

Should be fun. It is sad seeing it completely apart. I am glad I am not doing it though. Hard to take down a car that my youngest daughter loves and said "I love little cars with big horsepower". She turns 9 on Sunday.

I've been thinking about this project and ordering parts for about 3 months now.

Looks like the advice I got on the stainless works headers was dead on. Can't wait to see these with the stainless v-bands welded on.
