Default New Project: 1967 Camaro RS

I wanted to take a quick minute to share a rendering of my new '67 Camaro project:

McBride Rocks!

The front suspension is a modified stock subframe featuring Tyler's (American Touring Specialties) brilliance.

The rear suspension is a Lateral Dynamics 3-Link. Matt and Mark have been great to work with and their set-up is absolutely second to none.

Drivetrain is a 427 cubic inch LSx engine with Kinsler fuel injection backed by a Tremec TKO600 standard into a Lateral Dynamics 9".

Paint and bodywork (which is extensive) is being done by Chris Heighton at Heighton Restorations. Unfortunately the car has required the replacement of just about everything except the roof and rockers but Chris does top notch work and now the car is just about ready for mock up.

Ultimately the goal for this car is be a true dual purpose Pro-Touring car capable of weekend cruising and open highway competition. The highlight for next year would be to complete the Power Tour and Silver State Challenge.

I will start posting some updates tonight.

Gorgeous!

Are there places out there to get renderings done on a budget? I have a few ideas that I would like to see on paper before I move forward, but I also don't have much to blow on artwork. I think something of this quality would be overkill for my purposes.

Many of the artists on our site offer their services for hire. Be sure to check out their work:
