Be really interesting if somebody does the research, a list of what he paid for each car at BJ vs what they sold for at BJ....

Some of Mr Pratt's other cars sold for almost double what he paid like the Hertz 2006 mustang and the Ford GT.

Don't forget to calculate the buyers premium when he bought - and now the sellers premium....
Either way. It's not about money as in profit or loss, when you're in Mr Pratte's shoes. His decisions are about balance of life and lifestyle... Not about when the flight is leaving but when he wants his jet to leave.

Just think of the logistics in getting all those cars out there.

No doubt, Chad. I was watching the show and thinking this exact thought. I've no idea where Mr. Pratt lives (Vegas?), but somebody had to do some MAJOR coordinating in order to get all these vehicles on the premises, and then to get them all into their perspective spots...mind blowing!

His collection was housed in Scottsdale. It was all transferred to Westworld a couple weeks ago after a final "open house" at his museum/ hanger at his airport. Yep, he built his own airport. They dismantled the entire museum & trucked the 130 cars & 1400 pieces of memorabilia over to Westworld for the auction.
In watching the people handling the memorabilia before & after each piece was sold, these were not your typical movers. These guys were more like museum technicians.
Like Barrett-Jackson or not, (there are always critics of the ways auctions work) they are exceptionally good at what they do. The orchestration of that auction is amazing. There are NEVER any lulls, seldom any damage to any vehicles, and it runs like clockwork.
And, by the way, that ENTIRE "city" will be dismantled for the Taste of the NFL in 2 weeks. All the TV equipment, all the lighting, all the sound equipment, the tents, the thousands of cars, vendor displays, grandstands, drapings, etc. etc. To me, that is maybe the most amazing part of the whole deal.
If you have never been to B-J Scottsdale, I recommend it be on your list.

Greg, do you think he Paid a Seller's Premium? I think his collection selling brought even more attention to this B-J
I've been told that Pratt is a Silent Partner in B-J, don't know if that's true.

That's anybody's guess. If it was my collection - I'd have certainly made a "deal" of some kind...
Craig and Ron certainly have to be good friends if nothing else. They've made each other millions! LOL
