Scott's been working with DSE to narrow the track width a bit on the IRS. I bought all their control arms and sent them out to Scott, who cut an inch off each one. He's also building adjustable upper arms.

If this were a stock 5th Gen Camaro, at stock height, I'd be a little worried. Granted, we're a boat load lower, a 2nd Gen and do not need all the travel. I think we'll be in good shape.

He also did the TR6060 mods for the tunnel and 4th gen center console. We're working on the e-brake handle now. It will need a flat spot, under the center console slot and the cable passes through a hole later back, under the rug.

It's funny, I thought I stole the idea from LS1tech, but also found an install here. Stealing the pic from Woody - This is what it should look like:

Those DSE parts look pretty stout! I'm going to try to use a 5th gen console in mine. Yours will look nice when your done.

Console's in for the most part. I have to weld in the e-brake mount when it gets here. TIG should be fine.

It will be cleaned up, trimmed to fit the floor, then wrapped in leather. I love interior work, y'all should see my GMC truck's cabin.

There's a lot more room to make it contour the floor with carpet much better.

I can't trim the back of the console any more because the front is down all the way. Right now it sit's pretty level. any more out of the back and it will look funny.

Like all of the projects I keep, I had the car Toon'd.

Toon-ing is done by Christopher Kuster, a very good friend of mine that holds the paint brush, markers or whatever in his teeth.

The last pic is my friend Chris.

His website is http://www.paintbyteeth.com/

And yes, he's a car guy.

I'd agree, take some off the bottom in the rear, loose the cup holders, no need for level, just has too look "right" for the interior. I was going "consoleless", but really need one, my original is in pretty decent shape, but these 5th gen ones have too many creature comforts to pass up...so i'ma gonna go this route
