Default Project Cottonmouth, 67 Dodge D100

Here is my latest project, It's a 67 Dodge D100 that is getting a Ram SRT10 transplant. I purchased a complete chassis and plan on using as much of it as I can. I probably won't get started til winter, I have 2 other customer cars to finish up first.

Love those old Dodge trucks. Great project!

Sweet! Subscribed. I see your keeping the patina, what are the plans for the interior and bed? Do the dimensions allow for the body/bed to drop onto the frame (as much as it can for swaps sake)?

I would love to build a step side into a more modern "lil" Red/Warlock using the SRT10 chassis.

That rendering is so sick. Please keep the patina on it. Really nice!!

The patina is staying on the outside. Interior will be updated with new gauges, seats, carpeting and paint. Under the hood will also be painted to show off that beautiful engine.

Yep, that's exactly how I envisioned it. Rough on the outside, smooth on the inside.

Tin,
That's very cool, I'm sure it will turn out awesome, just like the Dart.

Any more on the truck? One of my favorite body styles. I had a '66 Fargo, yup I'm Canadian, and had a blast with that truck. Needless to say I don't have it anymore and would like another. Loved the Dart project and interested to see what you do with the truck.

Not much in the way of hands on, but I have been stocking up on parts. I had to design my own spindle so that I can use the massive (15") SRT front brakes on a Mustang 2 type front suspension. Scotts Hot Rod shop did a great job fabricating the IFS for my Dodge.

I purchased a 4 Bar rear suspension from No Limit.

I also designed a new dash insert to house my Speed Hut gauges and had it hydro dipped.
