NOW, in the other spirit of the thread... That's a nice measure of commitment DG, being that tires are date coded.

That has to be one of the most wicked reinforced looking clutch plates I have ever seen. What's the story there? Definitely not standard issue right?
LOL... tires are dated Feb 2015... so yeah I could be in trouble there huh.

But seriously, with BFG only making about a few sets it seems before of Rivals, I got on a waiting list awhile ago and decided to get them now while I can. Who knows if I'd be able to in the future.

Clutch discs are from Quartermaster.... dual disc.... some kind of "rally" hybrid material.... SUPPOSED to fit my Tilton setup.... that's all I got. We'll all find out at some point.

It looks like CorteX has the suspension just about wrapped up and some other fab is happening with exhaust and what not.
Motor/drivetrain ready?
Body looks ready other than flares and exhaust trim.
Seats in
Babies born and at least crawling around, congratulations by the way. Kids are an eye opener!
Tires, clutch.....I've read a couple times that you've said it'll be done when it's done but it's gotta be getting close!

YOU're trying to figure out what's going on??

Suspension is done.
Exhaust has been a pain (for them and me) but is nearing completion. I'll grab it soon and take it to get it coated since I am close by.
Motor/drivetrain have been ready for more than a year. Motor was completed and dyno'd in late 2013. That sucker is ready to sing.
Flares will happen later, maybe this coming winter or next year.
Seats/pedals will be mounted here soon as well as tie in to the diagonal and harness bar CorteX will add.
Son is nearing 6 months old and is the best distraction anyone could ask for. Thanks

And yes, done when it's done is the name of the game.

I am pretty bummed that I won't get to see what this would've sounded like.

I thought that was a smoker. Throw a couple racks of ribs in while making laps, eat them between runs. LOL

Just add it to the wall of shame...mine is getting full.

Did Crick build those transitions from the headers? Those look time consuming.

Yep. And YA THINK?! Crick is a pretty talented fabricator.

No easy way to transition from a super upside down sideways cross hex Double D into a circle.... and that's just the rear.

The front "collector" replaces the regular NASCAR merge collector and transitions 2 2-1/4" pipes into a parallelogram (or is it rhombus? ) thingy then into the Double D... Um, yeah.

If I had better pics I'd show them but I don't right now.

400+ pages!! And the car is still in pieces...Lol.

the only reasonable explanation that I can come up with is that I've been gone so long I missed out on the fact that you already finished the car...

Then tracked it for a season but decided to tear it down because it just wasent the Mustang you envisioned when you first started building the car.

that's the case right?!
