lol i thought the same thing, ive been working on mine at work ,thru breaks etc. most of my steel came from the scrap pile so the steel is even cheaper the the stuff i will need to order. figure ill be into it for at most 500$ canadian that includes the 2 hydraulic jacks and the 6 casters . boss is super cool and if there is a charge for welding drilling etc its literally next to nothing . i should have mine done ,blasted and, painted within a month . ill be sure to post my pictures up here when its done.

I wish i could have built mine for a little less cash. Look forward to seeing your finished product. I am not painting mine, I will probably sell it when finished with my project.

How much did it end up costing you? Let us know what you think about it once it's in use. I'm going to have to do the same soon.

I have about a grand in it, I had to buy 8 casters to get 6 but well woth it,also I paid a friend to weld it up for me. He has access to a 480 volt mig welder, it took 3-1/2 hours to weld it up, he did a great job. Hoping to hook it up this week.

I'll post the final price of mine but again...I do this stuff for a living so hence the cheap price of the steel

You did a great job on yours. Summit racing has them for $1100 already made. Gives you more time to actual work on the car instead of making it at the same cost.
