Nice Mustang build, What are your plans for it ? Drag Race, Auto Cross, Show Car, ? are you doing the work your self ?
Thanks
Keith

On the backseat panel and the console you have some "chrome" strips.
What are those made of ? is it polished aluminum rod or something else ?
I'm interested in making something like that.

Originally built to autocross. It's looking more and more like it's going to be for cruising and shows.

It's been a collaborative effort. About a year after I started the build I opened a shop. The design, drivetrain setup, electrical and assembly have been done by me. The metal work was done by Kelly Murphy and the paint was done by Larry Woodall. Jean-Noel at J-N-G Customs is doing the interior work.

Sad day in my household. Those that have followed my build since the beginning know that I went out and purchased this car as a project to busy myself after my father passed from cancer. His twin brother, my uncle Wally, went with me when I got the project and has encouraged me the whole build. I had planned for him to come up next month and take the first ride.

On January 4th he was hit head on by a driver going the wrong way down Interstate 295 in Jacksonville, Fla. He passed away on the 8th. His entire adult life was dedicated to helping others, from being a medic in Vietnam to running the tissue donor bank (he was returning from performing a case), he always had a good joke to tell and tried to help whenever possible. Life is short, make the best of it and if you're out drinking and having a good time.........think about this post and take a cab home.
