Default Front is sitting WAY too high!

Help, anyone? I set my second gen Camaro on the ground and it's sitting 2-3 inches too high. Everything is new. Upper CA's are Hidts, Lower CA's are GW, springs are Hotchkis (small block). The engine is in (ZZ502, Aluminum heads) all accessories are mounted. I originally had the Hotchkis BB springs but swapped them out for the SB...it's still too high! Any suggestions?

First thing that comes to mind would be that they sent you the incorrect springs. A lot of spring manufacturers will put a part number on them, find the part number and look it up to see what they sent you...... if the part number comes out as being correct. It may simply be the wrong spring rate or cut height. The other thing to check is to make sure you have not tightened anything up underneath to the point of binding up.

Are the springs seated correctly? Did you torque everything down when the car was in the air?

Default Springs are indexed proplerly

Yes...they're in correctly. I know the LCAs are free moving...I don't think there's a problem with the uppers but I'll double check tonight.

A friend of mine has a 68 Camaro that was to high in the front. He swore that he indexed the springs corectly but it ended up to be the problem.
