Aren't you going to have to make a wider bumper cover, modify tail light panel, etc?

Can you address putting the quarter skin in? Is the section you add into the quarter longer than the section you cut out in order to make it stretch and bow a little? I read somewhere this is how it's done. I want to ask someone who actually did it.

When you say "pie cuts" in the fender do you mean little spots cut to take the place of stretching?

If you look at the pics I posted you will see that there is about 1" of the original fender behind the door jamb, that's the "stretch" in the front. I would have done the same in the rear, similar to Steve and John but I opted to just let the rear end get wider...and yes this will require changes to the rear tail panel which I had already planned for. No real play book here, I do recommend looking at Steve and John's builds, both are done very well.

Driver side rear flare underway. Should be done tomorrow. If anyone ever uses this method to flare a sec gen, the key to the upper line flowing properly is bracing the joint from the backside. Kind of boring pics to put here but if anyone wants detailed pics, PM me and I will send them to you. Worked pretty well. One pic included here, you can't see the nut behind the square tube with the washers but it pushes the tube which pushes the existing and the new fender into a nice flowing line.

Very nicely done...flows nicely with the original lines. Just wondering how you will do the tail panel? Will you push the tail lights out by the amount the rear was widened?
MY 67 Nova needs quarter panels I wish I had the skills and guts to try something like this.

It's really worth doing. I almost wish I had not brought the back in. The tail is just .5" wider on both sides. Hard to see.
