One of them was the idle stayed up a little when coming to a stop but i got that figured out by adjusting the iac. The other one i am experiencing is when going full throttle fast it seems to hesitate a little bit but if i ease into it, it has no issues.

Thanks for the info. I'm goig to help install one of these FITech kits on a buddys 71 ElCamino. It's semi radical (427sbc; 10.5:1; AFR 235's; agressive hyd roller profile/low vacuum & a Victor intake) so I'm concerned. I tried talking him into doing the Holley Terminator or something similar but the FITech guys are telling him it will work fine & he likes their price + easier appearing install.

Hi Zak....Once again, car is stunning!! On your front end set-up, what control arms, shocks, spindles did you use. I'm in the planning process on my 70 build...already have the 12 bolt and quadra-link set up. While my car will most likely see a little auto cross....it will be mostly a street car with a bunch of LS HP (LSA). For the driving you have done...how do you feel the front end components you chose are working out?? The stance on your car is killer!! I am leaning towards the DSE front sub, but that comes at a cost..... However, the numbers (cost) for control arms, shocks, spindles, steering box, sway bar seem to approach the cost for an aftermarket.....

Thanks, Dave

I have the global west upper and lower control arms and did the custom works performance coil over conversion that is a bracket welded in the pocket not just the coil spring coil over. I went with the cpp c5 spindle so the z06 brakes bolted right up. So far all i have done is just drive it around town and threw it through some corners and it handles and feels real good but its hard for me to say since i haven't driven a car with one of the aftermarket sub frames. The only reason I went with the global west control arms was a buddy went to wide of wheel and had to get some arms that were narrower so i got them at a really good price but they are a really nice piece.

WOW. The engine looks awesome! Excellent choice for the color. Def. different. Is the Z06 front calipers 6 piston? What about the rears? The CPP C5 spindles look promising. WHat master cylinder did you have to use for the Zo6 brakes?

again...... WOW. LOL Thanks for sharing
