Pretty light progress lately but finally mostly finished the new tail section. Very happy with how it came out. Kept the original lines for the most part, just enhances them a bit to fit with the flared fenders.

Those aren't real tail lights...just some poster board painted red so I could make sure the placement looks right before drilling the holes. This is basically the stock location...basically.

It looks nice, did you make the cardboard lights bigger then the originals?

Nope, same size. I'm using the factory tail light lenses. Just looks like it cause I painted the paper cut outs all red...doesn't show the trim ring.

Yah sure, they did... with a 335" rear tire tucked well outboard of factory...


Did I miss the tire size on the rim specs? I am on my 3rd Not Your Father's Rootbeer and second cigar.
