I read his reply, right after yours:

I guess I was just thinking that there's so many ways to achieve a stance, that the stance alone shouldn't dictate the suspension choices, and asking for help from a forum like this one will most likely generate better suspension advice than the owner of some random car you found a picture of... The guy may be very sharp, but there's also a chance he has no clue, or is unwilling to help.

Well guys I did find Scott Staggs and his Chevelle and he was very helpful and knew what he was talking about. I will post a parts list from his car tonight when I get back home and have the info in front of me!

Well as I said earlier today that I would post the specs to Scotts '67 Chevelle. He was more than willing to talk with me on the phone and provided me with some helpful info. In my opinion, he has one of the baddest looking '67 Chevelles around . The parts list from his car is given below:

Front suspension:
QA-1 Double adjustable coil overs
Stock control arms
Hotchkis sway bar (1 3/8")
18" x 8" Intro Vistas w/stock backspace (4" ???), 225/40-18

Rear Supsension:
QA-1 double adjustable shocks
Edelbrock Trailing arms w/ adjustable uppers
Hotchkis 1" lowering springs
Hotchkis sway bar (1")
Moser 9", narrowed 1" per side
20" x 10" Intro Vistas w/ 4.5" backspace, 275/35-20

This was good to hear because I have been going in the right direction with the parts I plan on using. I have most of these parts taking up space in my spare bedroom, with plans for a Moser 12-bolt come the first of the year. Parts currently waiting for my car include:

Hotchkis front/rear sway bar kit
Baer Track kit with two piece 13" rotors front and rear
QA-1 single adjustable coil overs and single adjustable shocks (rear)
Global West trailing arms with adjustable uppers

I met Scott at the Hooters in Jainsville WI on the way to CC Nats. Nice fella.
We were hauling the GTO that's in the latest issue of CC.
That 67 that won the Year One Cup with the TT ZR1 engine was pretty awesome.
In a couple weeks we're starting a 67 Chevelle project like no other.

ZZ3ElCamino, do you know if he was interested in sharing some photos for this site?
