I like the cruise control!

I like the look of the stock steering wheel for this project. Once I start driving it. I might swap it.

Thanks for the effort, the photo shop job looks good. Still on the fence on black or blue wheels.

If you do go with the blue, I like the black outer/smaller blue version. Makes it look a lot more like a period correct 15" wheel/tire.

Yep, my vote would be Blue with the black outer lip too. Probably flatten the black a tad to come closer to your tire color.

Mark, what is the driver's sport mirror from? Is it non-remote?
I plan to put a pair on my son's car but the driver's I have has the manual remote cables. I do not want to cut the original doors panels.

Hey mark , question regarding your transmission. Do you run the .63 6th gear , or the .50 6th gear model

I use G-Body sport mirrors. They are remote operated from the factory. They have a cable on them stock. I make new mechanical parts for them to make them manual adjustable.

I have tried a few different ways of doing it. This is not easy. I knew someone would eventually ask the question so here are a few photos. To get it to fit in the housing is a lot of trial and error.

I have been using the .63 because it is more fun for road tours when you are in the mountains.

If you live in KS and you want better fuel economy get the 0.5. The engine rpm drops a lot but makes the 4-5-6 gear spacing large.

With the big gear rpm drops the engine is lugging or spinning up. It is a personal preference deal.

Mark, did you go with the close ratio and have D&D do the .50 swap on this build?

D&D can give you the tight ratio 1-5 and add a 0.5 6th. This works great with a blower motor with a ton of torque because it can pull the 3.25 rear gear and the OD. For this build with a stock LS7 I closely copied the 2014 Z/28 with a tight 1-6 and a 3.73 rear gear. It will turn a little bit more RPM at 80 but should drive great.
