Can anyone tell me the performance differences there would be in a 335 rear versus a 295 rear? HP will be around 550 hp.

Alright....I think I might have made a decision on the tire width issue. Rodger, the fabricator, pointed out that the Z06 has 325's and has a 500+ hp motor in it. The engine I'll be running will make more or less 550 hp. GM must have put that wide a tire on there to handle the horses that baby cranks out. Can't argue with that! So I guess we're going with the 335's. I actually kind of liked it and if I change my mind later I can always go down in width.

Default I guess next week came sooner than I thought!

Movin' right along with suspension mockup!

Fabricator wants to call the car "Z06 Nova" and cut a plate to see how it looks! What do you think? I'm thinking maybe to name it "Evil Spirit"!

Another shot of the mockup!

One More!

R.P. - Just the fact that you posted a comment makes me feel proud! Your car is amazing! So you like Z06 Nova huh? Rodger, the fabricator, told me that if I don't like that name we can always turn the plate around and call it AVON 6 OZ.! I told him he should stick to welding!

Chaz - Thanks for the encouragement! Yes, they are humming along quite nicely! Hopefully my checkbook can keep up with them!

I'll be going up next week to see the car in person so I'll take some photos of the car. We're supposed to have the C6 Torque tube, Transaxle, Diff, Half-Shafts, Rear Control Arms and hubs by Friday. Hopefully the guys will have the rear mocked up and the main chassis further along!
