Default 11" brake booster vs. 7" brake booster

I have a 67 Camaro with a 454 BB. I am wanting to change the factory 11" brake booster with a 7" dual diaphram to give me some more room under the hood. I was wondering how much performance difference there is between the two. Is anyone running a 7" and can you tell much of a difference in braking power? Does anyone know where the best place is to buy a chrome 7" brake booster? Thanks for your help.

I am running an 8" dual diaphram from CPP, I know you can get them in chrome. Not sure on the difference but it seems to work very well. I needed clearance as well.
