Default New here and new car...66' Olds drop top

I found this place doing research for my new car so I though I would share.

For 7 years I have been wanting a 64-67 A-body convertible. Stated out looking at 64/65 Chevelles and ended up with a 64 Lemans that was in my price range at the time. The car was too rough for my skills at the time and I got rid of it a few years later. I had a pretty nice 40' street rod but just didn't fill my void for a convertible.I have always I the back of my mind wanted another. Last Summer I sold the 40' and about 4 months ago I decided it was time to start looking again. I have wasted lots of time driving out 1/2 day or more from Dallas and even a few plane trips wasted to look at junk that looks great in pictures. I finally found the ONE a few weeks ago and struck a deal.
65K miles, one owner, no rust ever except two 1/4 size holes at the bottom of both front fenders. This thing is like a time capsule. I am very happy. Can't wait for it to get here so I can start on it. My plan is to leave the body 100% stock and go with a pro-touring type suspension. Already made a deal for some 18" Billet Specialties Wheels today. I will paint it in a year or so once I get my Malibu drag race car back together but for now I am just going to cruize the shiat out of it
Tell me what you think

My Oldsmobile finally arrived from PA last week. Its just as nice as described. Over all I am very happy. I plan on leaving the body and interior 100% stock but a few changes will have to be made. Here are a few shots of it first few hours in the TX sun. 8) She will need a slight altitude adjustment now. Now if my lottery ticket will pan out I will have brakes, suspension, and steering done next week

It's cool what the right set of wheels do for a car. Looks good.
