Default gm head ?s

i have a set of 993 heads on my car at the current moment with the small 194 150 valves.. well i burnt a few valves and was wondering what your opinions on my situation is.. i have a set of fresh 882 heads laying around with 202 160 ferrea valves already in them.. ive read mixed and match conclusions on which head is better.. should i go ahead and throw the 882s on the car and just fix the 993s later or is there much of a difference in the two heads? i know the valve sizes will automatically help the 882 heads out.. my car pulled hard on top and was decently fast before.

im also switching to a 700r4, 411's and midlength patriot headers if that makes any difference in what you would do.. i had longtubes a th350 and 273's. i was just curious what you guys would run if you had the choice

As long as the chamber sizes are the same, I don't think you'll see much differenct in power. All stock factory sbc heads are less the desireable for performance.

the factory 882 heads flow 206I and 142E in cast form.. id say thats a pretty good feat.. they dont flow anywhere near my pro action heads but they are still pretty nice.. i just wasnt sure which head was more desireable..
