did you guys use the 2" drop springs or the 3"? I have the 3" and I guess I'm just not use to the new look yet with it being so low. I suppose you are all using the koni shocks with the kit? I have my settings at 50% on the shocks and my car seems to be alittle soft especially when running down the highway and hit a dip in the road. What do you guys have your shock settings adjusted to? I don't mind a stiff ride, I just don't want to bottom anything out...

Thanks.. I'm still working on getting the frontend down about an inch... Hopefully we will get it done this weekend. I'll post more pics on my car domain webpage when I get it done

I used the 3" DSE leafs as well with 315/35/17s on 17x11s rear and 245/35/17s front. I went with the Chassisworks front end, so I was able to adjust my Varishocks down to match the rear drop. I even had a 1" lowering block on the rear at first, but it ended up dropping enough so I took the block out. The fender doesn't cover the tire at all in the rear for me, but with a '68 the opening has more arch to it. With regular springs in the front you may need to adjust as necessary to match up with the drop leafs in the rear.

First let me say the car looks very nice!!

One thing that's hurting you is that the front tire diam. is 1" shorter than the rear. What this means is that if the car was sitting level and the fender well openings were the same height front and rear, the car would appear higher in the front since there is a gap.

A 235/45/17 or 245/45/17 would be a better match as they both have approximatly a 25.5" diam just like your rear tire.

If you go with new front tires you shouldn't have to lower the front as much to make it all look correct.

Sorry for the delay...I know it's not fun waiting for answers!!
