Thanks for the sugestions. At first I thought about hiding it but it is on both heads so one side will be showing.I have thought about milling or doing plates. The problem is I should not have to do any of this and thats my point. My options right now are to mill the head or go out and get some Brodix track 1 heads.

try calling AFR back and maybe you will get somebody that is more helpful and that cares more about how the company is perceived.

OK Johnny. Come clean with the specs and who makes these heads. I am looking into the Brodix heads as well. They look very nice! I dont blame you at all for wanting the heads to have NO cosmetic flaws. I am the same way.

Those look nice! Were you able to send the AFR heads back without issue? Full refund? I hope that part went smooth at least.

Jay,the heads are Brodix track one's they are 215cc CNC ported.Standerd on these heads is 68cc chambers but I orderd them as big as I could get them.Right now I have no idea what size chambers they are.

As far as AFR goes no they would not take the heads back.I still have them collecting dust in the garage.

There has got to be someone higher up at AFR you can talk to...the customer rep might need a little talk from his boss.
It cant hurt to try and talk to someone higher up if you already havnt.

I am glad you posted this I am working on building a Big block myself and because of the way they have treated you I will not be buying from AFR. Good luck.
