I definately will post progress and pictures as I go. Should I keep it posted here or put it under the ongoing project/builds?

Either place is fine, but for people searching the forums, it would make more sense to put them in the Projects area.

Sinco, awsome project, one of these nova's is in my future for sure. I do have a suggestion on your choice of efi. Although I own a haltech myself and have friends that have them also, alow me to suggest one of the latest efi systems to hit the market which happens to cater to the lsx and the le market, BigStuff3. I'm currently installing it on my syclone project, and would recommend it for your project. BS3 was created by John Meaney (the godfather of aftermarket efi), he offers a system for the lsx motors that also contols the le trans. it seems like a no brainer for your build

just my .02 worth

This is good to know. I've heard about the Big Stuff but never had any experience with it. I've heard the fuel injection systems are all basically the same but differ in resolution and injector driver speed. Why do you think the Big Stuff is better than the haltech? I still have some time , but need to start working on getting the motor together.

Sinco, Haltech is not a bad system! I'm suggesting the BS3 because it is so perfect for your build LsX with a Le tranny, I mean that's exactly what the BS3 was designed for you just can't go wrong with it. another reason is you get to deal directly with the guy who designed the thing, not some shmo who thinks he's an expert.

I spoke with Graham Behan at LPE regarding my LS1 TT. He's going to design the heads cam etc for the turbos. I asked him about the big stuff 3 and he said thats what they ran on John Lingenfelters Eco car when John was drag racing. He had good things to say about big stuff. I am going to use a 4l80e tranny and I like the idea of the computer running the trans too.
Do you know who I would contact regarding this system? Would I contact Big stuff directly? I believe John Meany is the one who designed the Accel DFI system.
