Absolutely...If you want to do a Kenne Bell setup or any blower for that matter i would go for just a patriot stage 3 head(Cheap and flows very well). Even though the AFR's have a thicker deck which in turn = stronger for FI, I would spend the extra money in other area's. If i were you i would do a setup like ours, but maybe 402 if you wanted:

LS2 Block
Patriot Stage 3's - Complete
Callies Rods
Eagle crank
Wiesco Pistons -32 dished
LS6 oil pump
LS2 timing chain
Kenne Bell Supercharger (10-18 psi) // Whipple is a lot taller and may have issues with clearance even with a cowl hood.
Custom Blower Cam

If you want I can pm or email you a price on a Turnkey Setup or if you like please feel free to give us a call anytime I would be more then happy to go over your setup more in detail with you, so I can find out more of your goals for the car.

We do get good discounts from both Kenne Bell and Whipple so we are good in those areas.

Thanks
Taylor

Another option could be an L92 setup with an L76 intake. Heck you could throw on an ITB intake even and that would be way different and can you say throttle response? Texas Speed has the L92 418 cubic inch strokers for under $5k. The L92 heads are super cheap and flow extemely well for an as cast head. Take into account that this is a built motor with forged pistons rods and crank and its a much better deal than the hyper piston LS7 crate motor. Should make 500 rwhp without even breathing very hard and could handle a 200 shot of nitrous no problem or forced induction if you so desire.

L92 stuff is great we also sell L92 short/long blocks. We also are the first company to build a Sheet Metal intake manifold for them. Affordable one at that.

I believe I have seen your guys' intake and it is indeed a nice piece. Its paying upwards for $4000 for a sheetmetal intake that I cannot understand especially when that is ITB price territory. I didn't state it before but my plug of Texas Speed was merely because their price was easily accessible and I have dealt with them personally with great results. I did not mean to suggest you guys don't also build great products as I am sure you do. I wish I could do an LS7 or L92 in my chevelle but a forged 347 is gonna have to do for now. However, back on topic, what do you guys do for pistons in your L92 headed motors? From what I have gathered there aren't really any off the shelf pistons that have the correct valve reliefs.

That is correct L92 pistons indeed are still custom. I believe Diamond is the only company that has correct valve reliefs out right now. I have contacted wiseco about getting on the ball with some. Yes our intake retails for around $2000 for the Sheet Metal with Fuel Rails and Hardware. We are running a sale right now here on Lateral-g.net for $1800. I didn't think you were pluging Texas Speed I just figured I should let people know we also build them since it is not on our website as of now.
