Nice car.

I have a custom set of 255/18 and 295/20 redlines for sale and am on Long Island also if you are interested. They are made from BFG Comp's with the sidewalls shaved and the redline fused in not painted new in wrapper. The 20's were one of the 1st set they did. Saw your redlines and thought there might be interest. Car sold before they were installed.

Actually I am not really into the big tire deal either but it is what sells right now. If you look into Perelli they re issued the Countach rear tire size which is a either 345 0r 335 15 which is 26' tall but super wide. Not a drag radial but great for handling. May have to massage those wheel houses a bit.

Also look into Oasis wheels they have a dead ringer for the old Hurst wheel but are one piece and the offsets and sizes are limited but are cheap and are 17's or 18's.

Good luck,

Default Wheels

Hey Chris Have you looked into www.Bozeforged.com their protouring rim would look very cool as well as their Tach rim. They are a good bunch of guys over there, ask for Larry he will hook you up with what ever you need.

I definitely agree, Larry is a great guy. I just spoke with him yesterday, and it's nice when you get to talk to people like that on the phone.

I'm in the same dilemma as you so I feel your pain as far as trying to decide on wheels! I guess, for me, what it comes down to is what kind of look to I want for the car? Clean or Mean? Euro or American Muscle? New School or Old School? Once you make those decisions then you can move on and narrow the choices you have!

Good Luck!

John

Yeah novanut -
You're right and figuring that out is almost impossible for me. The camaro's and nova's look great with any wheel - But my 65 is sort of ugly. I was wondering, if I go with an old school look will I be kicked off of the site? LOL! My goal is to have the car look schooled enough to get into one of the magazines. My kids put a lot of effort into this car and it would be a great memory and learning experience. The experience is that you can take a ****box to WOW with hard work and effort. I wanted to give up a few times but the interpretation the kids would have would not be good. That would be "when the going gets tough the tough give up.! This way they are learning a life lesson, which is never do what dad did. (ha)

Thanks Judgement - Bozeforged has nice stuff too. Kills me when I look through the sites and see the great selections.
I found this link http://www.autowaretech9.net/nextwheels/newstal.htm

Brian send me a link to the redline tires that you have for sale. I will entertain the thought.

PRRC - I'm trying to find out the max size that would fit on the 65 a-body without mini-tubbin it. Is there a guideline book that gives that info or do I need to start taking some serious measurements?

I did not mini-tub just incase someone wanted to plunk a pontiac motor in her when I'm done and put her back semi stock.
