I read it. This was supposed to be different. He's quoted in this thread saying he would build this as if it were his own... anyhow, that's it, it's over, we're over the river and through the woods.

My head's up, I am moving on. My kids still love the project, so we're motoring ahead. There's nothing I can't fix.

We should let this sore subject die in the feedback section and let JJ move forward.

Hey JJ were you taking the car now to get the work done?

Thanks. I'd prefer to let it all die. The cards will fall where they will, with the law.

We're doing it. I own a shop that does auto restoration. Granted, we do mostly classic Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini but make an exception now and then. My father started it in 1968. We have cars with every major collector out there.

The pic on the lift is at my shop, with Roger my shop foremen.

You can see a lot of my shop in my shop truck thread. We have interior (clean) bays, 4 down draft paint booths with heat, etc.

I took it to two other shops for the estimates, just to document everything.

I've finally learned, there are few people that will do it right. I am one and I have a few of those folks in my employ. They just don't do Camaros that handle, accelerate or brake. Looks like I have to dip my fingers into that market, or at least my car.

Glad to hear it's going to work out with your guys John. The hard parts are done you just need to put it all back together. Camaros are easier than them Jags.

Come back over the top!!!!

Going there. The quarters are coming off, to do what should have been done.

I have to asses the level of damage first. Then figure out rear suspension so the sway doesn't hit the shock. Then match up the rim/tire combo.

Probably about 2" each side.

Get the suspension to where it needs to be....Optimized.
Then get the wheels and tires where you want them. Lip size etc.

Then fit the body to the Wheels/tires.

good luck JJ!!!
