Could 335 's be put on those 11in rear wheels ( eventually)? I got minitubs and was leaning to 12in....but it's only an inch right?

I don't think they make a 335 in a 19". The largest I've found was a 325/30-19 which has a recommended wheel width of 11-13", but I'd think a 12" wide wheel is a better way to go for that large of a tire.

i'm working on a buddy of mine with the 67 chevelle. He is trying to see if they might fit. He had some 15x8" with a 12" 29" tall slick with 4.75 back space. I would think it would fit if those wheels did. the back space is just tick deeper.

Is Brent getting close to coming south yet so you might be able to bring them to try when he drops off the 55?

I'm pushing along - slowly - but forward progress. I'm thinking 2-3 months but my guess though at this price they will gone before I get down there.

thanks Mark. I remember with my 67 I wanted to do a 17 X 11 with 315's and no tub; was going to be too close, would rub. The later Chevelles have a lot more room.

How did you get the black coating off? Media blast? I'm asking because if I were to buy them and decided the 19's were just too tall for my liking I could sell them and get 18's but would need to match the fronts. Would plain aluminum ones look the same as the black one's stripped?

they were bead blasted prior to powdercoating. To get them to match the fronts you'd pull the centers out and have them powdercoated silver, raw aluminum wouldn't look the same as silver powdercoat.

Raw aluminum looks different than bead blasted aluminum. If you went to 18's then powdercoating the new centers silver is the easiest way to get them to match, or remove the centers in the front and do whatever you wanted to all of them; powdercoat in whatever color, bead blast and leave raw, clear coat, etc.
