I don't know you guys, but I would like to get in on the betting.

I'd put up $50 on the it hitting over 660 easily. Lingenfelter did a 9:1 502 buildup over 10 years ago very similar to this and hit did 663 hp. Cam specs are nearly identical, but your AFRs gotta be better than the oval ports he was using.

Of course, that was the legendary John Lingenfelter.

This car is not a car I built from scratch like the others, I just thought, while he's got it apart, I might as well upgrade the motor. I would have to get another subframe or modify the stock one to accept a LS series motor. I really need to decide if I want to go BB or SB..

fesler, you have built some killer cars and I understand where your coming from, but your cars are in a different league than my '71. Here is a picture of my 1400hp hot rod, it's insane..

thanks everybody for your input,

SW
Thanks for the props man but they all start somewhere and we are buildng a 70 Camaro right now with a build ZZ4. The customer just wants a mild engine. That Viper is sick and I bet its wild to drive, same thing we are doing to a 69 Camaro right now I will post pics soon. Let me know if you ever need anything.
