Default Help! Wheels on my Z06.

I'm going to ask for some opinions here, because I'm of two minds and can't make a decision without more input. I've never had a car and not had two sets of wheels and tires for it. I like to switch it up, and if one tire has an issue, like strange wear or something, I can switch and keep rolling. Anyway, I'm ready to send my GM Prototype centers off to Driverz Inc. to be repaired and re-powdercoated.

I'm not a big fan of the stock Z06 wheels, so I'm going to get me a set of Rushforths for the 'Vette. But which ones to get? That's where I need the help.

This is my car:

And I'm wavering between two wheels designs. I'm a huge fan of the Concept line, specifically the Concept III's which are only a concept at this point. They are like the Concept II's, but the cut goes almost all the way to the hub, rather than stopping in the middle.

Then there's the new Strutter design, which I also like a lot. This is the design that Jason thinks will work, and I'm inclined to trust the designer. But I'm so in love with the Concept III's.

He also suggests the Rated-X design, though personally it's a little too evenly spaced for me.

But I could also see the Super Spoke design, too.

I really like the Rated X with the brushed centers.

I like the wheels, I like the car, but I don't like any of those wheels on that car.

Z06 needs a high performance racing look wheel, not a retro/hotrod style wheel on it. I'd go with something like Forgeline, HRE, CCW, iForged, DPE, Fikse, etc...

I still think the best looking wheels on those cars are the 1-piece SP500 CCW wheels, which I have on my Firehawk.

I just feel like those wheels are very plain to me. I don't think they have a lot of character, and they are really played out. HRE and CCW for the 'Vette guys all over the place. And I don't think they look good. Just because the race car runs web spokes doesn't mean I need to, you know? Plus, I really prefer to support people, not huge impersonal companies.

Retro?? Really? They're specifically designed to bridge the gap between hot rod billets and styles like you suggested and I think they'll actually work better on cars like Will's than on a 33 Ford but that's why they make 31 flavors, right?

See? I'm not a crazy nut! Well, at least not over my wheel choices...

I'm going with 19"'s all around, over the 17/18 stagger.

I would go with the Concept III's, and have the hardware shown.
Maybe even powdercoat them a charcoal color and have the hardware chrome or polished, with the outer rim polished. Just my opinion.

I agree with tony. SW's silver vette is killer. I would also like to see the strutter design mounted on the car before I pulled the trigger.
