Default 1969 Camaro RS Grilles

Just wondering if anyone knowed if there was much difference between GM and aftermarket grilles for 69 camaro RS,thanks for any help.I was told when I bought it that they were close but it does not appear to fit my GM fenders to well.

I may be wrong but the OE grill may still be available through GM .. The OEM fit nice don't know much about the aftermarket. But if its like all the other aftermarket junk I wouldn't bother...

I'm curious as to who is actually making the one sold by the dealer.

Isn't it just a reproduction too? As in, made in Taiwan.

I've got one of the GM RS grilles, it's NOS but about 10 years old. It fits good around the fender openings. Remember, they usually all have a little extra material around the edge that you can sand/trim for a better fit. I needed to remove alot of material from the standard grill repop that I'm using.

Goodmark uses (or used to use) original GM tooling. Fits pretty good, but not OEM good. Also I carefully used a heat gun to mold slightly to the grill opening prior to paint. Your mileage may vary on this one; mine did.

And as Tim said, almost every RS grill fits like crap.
