Default March 12 Feature: Innovator by the Roadster Shop

The Lateral-g.net March '12 Feature of the Month is the Innovator by the Roadster Shop. This incredible car needs no introduction - the title of Goodguys 2011 SMOY winner says it all. I got to check this car out in person several times and the attention to detail and craftsmanship is stunning. I'm proud to call it a Feature of the Month.

Phil and the guys at the Roadster Shop are really cool people, but what they did with this car is really beyond most anything I've ever seen. Trendsetter, is the word that comes to mind. I've seen this car in person and I ended up with lockjaw!!!

You just lose count of the amount of one-off pieces on this car. Does that make it unique? No, anyone can have one-off parts made, but to put it together in one flowing package where it all gets tied together in a specific theme. Phil's team does everything to such high quality that if you watch all of their builds, it's evident the even above average isn't good enough. This car is just off the damn hook.

Scott, you had to be giggling to yourself picking this one, what a great feature car!!!!!

I think it's a love it or hate it car. I'm the latter. Ugly. Great craftsmanship, no doubt, just unpleasing to look at. That grill, really? My 2 cents.

The level of craftsmanship required for that build speaks volumes of the company.
