Default Twin Rotex blown lsx Nelson Racing

Heres a couple of shots of a twin blown lsx 402 we just finished.I put a stock z06 cam in this sucker to try to build a super quiet super enjoyable streeter. This thing idles so smooth it's awesome. It made 630 ft lbs at 4900 rpm and 640 hp at6100rpm at 8 psi and 780 ft lbs and 800 hp at 13 psi on pump gas.Really a nice cruiser that will get with the program.

Very nice peice!!!!!

now with those rotex blowers, are two needed do to cfm out put?
what is max cfm and rpm for one of those? ( I think they have a veriable speed trany in them?) or do they have different models with
diff. out puts...etc.?

on the units you have on this set up how do they compare to the C-2
procharger head unit? (if i'm in the ballpark)

The Rotrex blowers are rather small European superchargers, they are not designed for big engines, which is why you need two of them, they are great superchargers. http://www.rotrex.com/

Tom what is the weight of that mounting plate? It looks like 1 inch billet, I'm just curious how the weight of one of these engines would compare to a similar hp twin turbo engine. I'm assuming that you ran it with a intercooler, so all of the charge piping and intercooler probably weighs the same as a tt setup.

It's a 3/4 inch piece the weight is comparable i would say to a turbo set up
