Default New guy...

Hello, I'm Chad. I'll warn you now that I'll probably end up rambling on during this post. LOL

My first experience with modifying a a car was a 96 Trans Am. Bought the car stock and slowly began working on it. When I sold the car it was still my daily driver and ran 10.80s @ 128-29mph with nitrous. During that time I also went in 50/50 with my dad on another TA which is listed in my signature.

I went on the 04 Power Tour and fell in love with the 1st gen Camaro's. I found one in need of a complete restore that July. The car was finished at 1am the day we left for the 05 Power Tour. Had to run the junk Rally's because the new wheels hadn't come in.LOL The car made the whole trip (4200+) miles from home to home. Only problem was a burnt ignition wire about 200 miles into the trip.

That car was totaled in April 07. Was ignorance on my part. pulled out of a friends shop and the throttle hung wide open. Ended up hitting a pole with the drivers door crushing it in 20+ inches. I sustained very few injuries and my now fiance only had bruises.

She told me she wanted me to build another one in June. I bought the new one June 30th as a birthday present to myself.

She also told me at Christmas that she wants to drive off in this car (still hadn't ordered sheetmetal) after our wedding in May.
The sheetmetal is done now, so it looks like I might make it, but only time will tell.
The End

Take care guys.

Thanks. I'll try to figure out how to post some pics of the wrecked car and progress pics of the new one.
