Default where to find a pitman arm

Wow who would have guessed it would be impossible to find
i need a pitman arm for a 78 Trans Am, i got one from a 79 Camaro and it is 1.5" too long.
any ideas?

Blake, Longer is better! I'd use the 79 Camaro pitman.

The problem with it being longer is that the idler is then not the same length and the inner tie rod ends hit the frame when turning so i need to find the original that is 6" center to center

the issue seems to be that it is a nonwear part. so who out there has a pitman arm there not using???

I am not sure if the camaro and trans am are same but I am changing my steering box to an agr box and i have a new pitman arm with the box. So you may be able to get one from agr. otherwise I will have the one from my 78 camaro in a couple weeks.
