68 SS/RS comin outta the closet

I must say that after seeing the article on twisted machine and finding this site I have now decided after 3 years which way to go with one of my projects. I am going to build a modern day pro street car with the final dream of having twin turbos.
I have to first dig it out of the back of my storage building which should be done by today. It is sadly a major rust project, however with the recent retooling of just about every part needed I will restart. I just got the full floor pan and tail panel from Dynacorn and was impressed with it. It is already stripped down and ready for passenger and trunk floor removal.
My kid has my camera but I will be loading pics soon.
Any Ideas or tips will be greatly valued during this build.

This will be a tribute to a fellow collision repair instructor and friend of twenty plus years. Joey Savoie. He was a great builder and fabricator of many hot rods over the years and we once worked together to build an ISCA World Champion Truck.
He past away suddenly at the age of 46.

Alright Joey, you know the drill, jump in the passenger seat and when I go for second gear, thats when you go for the Franklin ($100.00) on the dash. Get it before I hit third and its yours.

Ive already seen some of your work and I am greatly impressed. I get more and more Ideas every time I come on here. I dug my Camaro out of the back of my storage and was going over it this weekend. It kinda fell on a back burner when one of my sons joined the Marines. He has been in for almost 2 years now so I guess i should have as much confidence in him as he has in his own self.
When I get this car built we will really have some fun when he comes home on leave.
Im hot on the manumatic paddle shift tranny as I used to race shifter karts.
What exactly does your biz do as far as planning a build?

The manumatic are badd ass. As for planning, we build a lot of cars in our shop, and use a lot of products in the process. Our builds go from mild to wild, so we have a bit if experiance in what works and what doesn't. So we pass this knowledge to our friends on the forums we sponsor. We just talk about, goals, budget, and try to help put togther a plan so the car does what it needs to do.

It is not a sales trap, while we do offer a huge variety of products, often we will recomend products we do not sell, like the manumatic transmission you mention for example.
