Default Sam Posey Edition 2008 G5 Challenger SEMA '08 - Sneek Peeks!

Hey guys,

Thought I'd share a couple pics from the build from a couple of weeks ago. The Car is now Sublime Green, stripes are on, 77s are on and it's starting to come together. The new tooled front and rear bumpers are looking good. One of the pics below is the T/A hood scoop in the molding process. Chris has an uncanny ability to take my 2D renderings from a sketch to prototype part to production molds! Bryon at Arizona Speed and Marine is one heck of a fabricator. Check out his work in the pics on the form fitted roll cage and side exit exhaust - through the BODY! Also check out the painted trunk lid - eye popping color! I will try to put up some pics each week. I should also have the News page up with more info on specifications, sponsors, etc.
Group 5 Limited, Sam Posey, and the Sam Posey G5 Challenger will be in Hot Rod Alley this year at Booth #23679. Make sure you stop by to see Sam and the Challenger!
When I have some progress pics to show Group 5 Ltd. in conjuntion with Team Performance http://team-ppi.com/ will have a second Challenger, the Twin Turbo G5/R Challenger in the Snow Performance Booth #25157.

I've seen the rendering and it looks awesome!

Are there plans to have it photographed or displayed along side the Ken Epsman-owned Trans-Am racer?

Thanks guys. The G5-R is a true streetfighter. It's pretty much a custom build depending on what the customer wants built. You can build a wicked N/A motor, a Supercharged engine, or a Twin Turbo motor making around 1000 horsepower. Sky's the limit with that car. The great thing about this is that the G5/S, G5/SC, G5/R, or the G5 Sam Posey Challengers can all be ordered and bought through Dodge dealerships that are dealers for the G5 Challenger program. You order your SE, R/T, or SRT8 and then you flip throught the G5 brochures and options lists and figure out what you want. Everything's rolled into your payments. Custom parts also include a warranty.
I'm real excited about this. I'm really lookin' forward to going over the car with Sam Posey, chance of a lifetime.
The Sam Posey car that will be at SEMA is actually the first Customer car. We also spoke with the guys from the T/A registry and they're working on putting together a special registry for all G5 Sam Posey Challengers.
