Default I'll trade you THIS for THAT....

Ok I know this has been mentioned before but I can't find it. Alot of us have parts laying around that we no longer use, don't need, leftover from prior projects and so on. Selling them can be a PITA on the web. I thought it might be a good idea to have a sticky or a FREE/TRADE section with parts listed that members would be willing to trade or just get out of the garage/shop that are taking up space. I've been cleaning my garage and have come across stuff I don't want/need/or have a use for that I will be getting rid of. Any opinions on this?

I vote yes. I think it would be a great way to get and get rid of stuff while helping each other out with the never ending search for parts. And if we can save a few bucks at the same time, that is just a bonus.
I have stuff I could list right now and could make a whole other list of things I need.

If there is a running list of parts, members can then browse the list, PM the member with said parts and once they have been traded they can be taken off the list.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

I can create a Trade/Free section in the Classifieds category if you guys want it and there's enough interest in it.

That is a great idea! We could use a place to help others and ourselves out.

I've seen a few sites that have a "pay it forward" section, it works out pretty well, but usually you can only get something.. if you put something up in return.. which is fair....
