I think it was on Power Tour when Scott had a problem with the car on the road. Not a photo shoot.

I believe you are correct Jeff. That happened to Scott on this year's power tour.

Car had an "issue" while on the tour.. that's Rob Kinnan of Hot Rod taking the picture.

Great photo of true team effort!
Im assuming you pulled over on some cow pasture side street the wat took over the whole road to work on the car. Scott you were haulin that 5 1/2 ton jack in your trunk? I doubt it but you never know.

I read the story in the mag. The front suspension had a bolt back out somewhere along the way. It sounded like the damage was minimal and they were back on the road in no time.
The jack and tools may have been in the chase truck. Not sure about that though.

A local "Car" guy was driving by....saw what happened....Went home and brought back everything needed to fix Scott's car "Correctly" and "Safely"....Twenty minutes later we were back on the road as if nothing happened............

That's right. A local car guy pitched in with a jackstand and floor jack and we were back on our way. There's a lot of good people out there.

I haven't seen the new issue of Hot Rod yet, I'll be looking for it.
