Default Finally a roller!!! Thanks Jakes Rod Shop

I am just going to start a new thread on my build instead of adding on the old one since so much has changed with the build. Since RTTH last year I have gotten to know Jake fairly well, and when my project stalled and I couldn’t find the will to carry on with it any longer, Jake stepped in and coordinated with my wife to have the car sent to his shop in Maine. That was the first step in me finding the want-to that allowed me to move forward with the project. As some already know it is a Morrison MaxG with a 3-link rear. The wheels are Rushforth Super Spoke 18x10 and 19x12. Brakes are Wilwood 6 piston with 14" rotors front, and for the rear we went with Wilwood 4 piston with 14" rotors with an integral mounted parking brake. Jake and his crew built an entire custom core support to tie the front together, and for some added support. I started with a basketcase and although there is still a long way to go, we are moving forward so it feels great to say the least. I cant say enough how good the JRS guys have treated me either, I was there for 7 days last week on a sort of working vacation because I wanted a hand (albiet very small) in helping to build my car. They handled my newbie questions, beginner mistakes, and my ADD very well. LOL So I owe a big Thank You to Jake, Kelly, and the entire crew of Yankees working on my car, but the biggest thanks has to go to my wife Stephanie for not letting me throw in the towel and saying screw it. And now onto what everyone really cares about anyway the pictures. Jake also has a lot of pictures he may put on here as well.

Thumbs up

Very cool. Looks good. Good to hear about Jake's Rod Shop. And kudos to your wife for not letting you give up on the car. Keep us posted.
(Not sure you are the person or not, but do you happen to live in MA? I think I have seen your car before on camaros.net.)

Thanks guys! Yea I am looking forward to keep moving forward and try to have it all together for some events next year! I will ask jake to post some pics of the core support, I really believe he will start selling a version of this core support soon to be used in conjunction with his subframes.

Tone2SS I actually live in Arkansas.
