I have been checking this out over at ls1tech.
700+hp on pump gas and 500ftlbs tq at idle!!!! Might be pricy, but will anyone be looking into this for their ride? I might be

Were looking at doing something close, but not quite 500", 470" range without using the adapters using the new Bill Mitchell tall deck. That thing has some tennie tiny little rods in it to clear that stroke!

I am sure it a powerfull motor, but I think that I have to call BS to 500ftlbs of tq at idle.

Ok, Nearly off idle.

"Actually , it is a 4.5" stroke but yes, it should make more than 500FTLBS nearly off idle! Our past experience shows the 445 versions we have done make over 610FTLBS and over 500FTLBS at 2800RPM. Plenty of torque to get ya moving!"

We are liking the idea of 4.25 stroke making the motor almost square, right at 470". If we wanted a torque blob, we would build Buick. Plus we may be able to get a beefier rod in there with less stroke and clearance issues.
