Default 1970 Mustang Fastback

Just thought I would post some pics of the 70 fastback were just finishing up.
I began working on the car last june and we started with rebuilding the engine which is a 351 Cleveland 4V motor which has a comp 292 hyd roller cam and valvetrain. forged slugs and rebuilt 4V heads with stainless steel valves. then the owner decided he wanted to put in a gear vendors overdrive to make cruising more fun.
here is the car as I began working on it last summer

Installing the gear vendors behind the C4

We then got to talking and I mentioned to him about moving or altering the factory bulky hard to fill fuel filler neck so he decided he wanted to shave the filler neck and trunk lock and install a shelby filler neck on top of the 1/4 panel

We got the car back on the road just before christmas and the customer brought the car back in april for a new paint job. We replaced 3" around the rear wheel well and the same on the outer wheelhouse. had a little rust in the p/s door skin bu other than that the body was in really good shape.
Body ready for wetsanding

not sure ? this car is originally a 302 sports roof car although it was cloned as a mach1 when my customer purchased it. Complete with a shaker hood.
