67 Camaro suspension

I am doing my suspension on a 67 RS Camaro.I want it to sit low and will be running 17 or 18 inch wheels and will not be mini tubbed.It will be street driven only. What are the type of suspension yall would recommened? I just want to make sure its done correct the first time,Thanks

This is my 67 on hotchkis front/rear springs. 17x8 front 235/45/17 and 17x9 rear 275/40/17. This is not the 3" drop, It's the 1.5 or 2" (can't remember). Budget friendly & good overall ride & handling.

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. Maybe the hotchkis 3" drop setup would be what you're looking for? I think they have some pics on the website. A few months ago hotchkis posted a thread on their new 3" drop springs, & had a link to some pics of both 2 & 3" drops installed on first gens.
Let us know what you decide on, & post some pics when its installed.

They sell it as 1.5 drop. as I understand it some folks with fairly saggy stock stuff don't see much of a rideheight change. Yours looks good, not REAL low but nice.

As Scott pointed out you can improve the handling of your Camaro on a budget. It's also easy to get bitten by the Pro-Touring bug.

We offer 2 and 3" drops. Here's a 69 Camaro with a 3" drop:



To start off small, you may want to at least consider some good shocks, springs (front and rear) and a front sway bar. If you find out later that you want your car to handle even better and more like a newer car, you should look at some upper control arms and consider performing the Guldstrand Mod. The Guldstrand Mod works best with tubular upper arms, so you don't have to unnecessarily hack the frame to clear stock control arms. Subframe connectors are often overlooked, but they do make a Camaro feel more commanding on the street as well as the track.
