Talking Newbie from the U.P.

Hey guys Im in northern Michigan, Im building a 69 Firebird which has been my running project. What a blast to drive just put a new 400 poncho in it and have slowly been modifying to perfection.

Welcome! You used the "P" word Be careful with that one, there's numerous examples around here supporting the fact that perfect isn't good enough.

Enjoy that Poncho! My only word of advice base on past experience would be don't use headers, find some trick manifolds and have them extrude honed and coated if you feel the need. I don't know any task more frustrating than installing and removing Pontiac headers.

A large chunk of my relatives are in the U.P. ( Bessemer/Ironwood) and I lived there myself WAY back when I was very young. My Aunt & Uncle have a beautiful house on Lake Gogebic. I Love going up there!!

Welcome and try posting those pics again!!
