One of my favorite videos from that event, Kyle Tucker in-car doing the BFG Hot Lap Challenge.

Does ANYONE ANYWHERE get MAV TV??

HAHAHAHAHAHA it's so useless....At least when the show was on the SPEED channel people could actually watch it. I know Speed Channel is no longer... to our chagrin.

I could comfortably get by with 10 channels vs the bazillion I have to wade through to get the 9 I watch...........MAV would be #10.

Maybe once this cell phone price war is over and those plans all get back to what I'd call reasonable pricing, the cable companies (and the networks) will be next.

Ala Carte channels would be fantastic, but a LOT of networks and reality TV channels would go belly up if they weren't forced down our throats just so we could get those 10 channels we all really want.

Directv. Had it since 99 cause it was the only place i could get Speedvision. Ha.

Anyways, the Daytona production did very very well imo. Mucho gracious Lucas.

Still room for improvement, still not enough of the little guy, but much much better. Very well done.

Okay, the wife sat and watched the whole Daytona episode with me...and that says a LOT! She started out with her laptop open but pretty quickly closed it and focused just on the show.

I thought it was a huge improvement even over the Texas show which was way better than Laguna. Overall it just flowed better and was much more watchable. The on track action shown was great, the competition between the drivers pretty well documented, with just enough but not too much of the side show elements thrown in.

The best part for me was how the relationships between everyone there was shown, everyone grouping together to fix a wrecked car, or push a broken car around the track, or just hanging out. I thought Bret did a great job of explaining the culture that goes along with these events.

Well done to everyone involved... Can't wait to see the next one.
