Default Started on First Crank!

After five years of working on my 69 Camaro / LS1/ 6 Speed, I finally got to the point of trying to start it up. The engine has been sitting for all this time and I was totally shocked when it fired right up. Two injectors were not working so I tapped them and it smoothed right up. A special thanks goes out to John @ Speartech as he rewired my harness and answered all my questions concerning the wiring via email! I actually drove it around the block to see if it shifted correctly and everything else was in working order...truly amazing! What a great day after all those days and nights of piecing this project together! I also have been building a 55 Chev which kind of explains the long time frame on the 69.

Now comes all the fun stuff of hooking up the A/C, hanging the rest of the front sheet metal, interior, etc., etc. But I feel pretty good today as it passed the most important test of starting and going out on it's maiden voyage!!!

Chuck
