Default Holley mid mount on gen V LT1

Recently began a LT1 swap on my 1967 Chevy Camaro. At the moment I'm using a PSI Harness and factory ECM from them. Was looking for a accessory drive. Found the Holley one. But i noticed the alternator they offer in the kit is a older style LS single wire set up. PSI Harness alternator connector is a 2 wire set up. my question is will this form a problem? if I don't connect that 2 wire connector from the engine harness. Has anyone came across this problem yet.

Most likely will, the LT E92 controls the alternator and has the ability to run it up to 15+ volt output or all the way down to like 12.5. I did a lt1/10 speed swap last summer and that alternator only charges the amount it needs. Many times on the test drives I noticed what appeared like like low output but Mitch at swaptime USA (harness supplier) said that is the tech built into the OE system. Also said that strategy was based on the OE battery type which is AGM. Using the truck water pump pump and balancer with a custom power steer pump mount I put together a simple effective drive, the pump has the alternator mount, A/c mount built in along with the belt tensioner works for your regular gm chassis

You can leave it disconnected. Holley is technically a "4 pin" but only 1 of those pins gets used.. The mid mount comes with the pigtail for it, which just gets an ignition + source. That's how it's regulated.

I just noticed this was brought back from the dead from 2 years ago.. Lol
