On the subject of Chrome, we are going to be putting in a Catalistic chrome line that will be able to do plastic, fiberglass, wood, basically all of the items that couldnt be done before. This is the same process that GM used in Chevy truck grilles, etc, same type of look. Its about as durable as paint, can be clear coated, tinted in colors (black, blue, red, purple, etc) great for the motorcycles too. I hope to have the equipment in about 6 weeks or so then run some test parts. Keep us in mind. Some parts with details such as dash bezels you wil probably still want to do the vacume metalic type plating, but this is great for bigger objects.

That's really cool, Micky. How large of a part can you do?

A car if you want to spend the $$..lol I'm serious. Same stuff you see on TV, Helmets of Nascar Drivers and NHRA, lots of possibilities. Im sure I will see a lot of import cars stuff, the bikes like your into, ferrings, etc, but also custom harley stuff too. Its not a dipped process, more like paint but its not. There is a paint product out there but the shine is still low gloss. This is about a 95% chrome shine. Real close.

I will post it on here when we get cranked up. Have some training to do and also get the building prepped so it could be a little longer on the big stuff.
