Default New here/First post

Just wanted to say hello. I have been at the Pro-touring.com site for a few months but just came here from a link on Kris Hortons web page.

As my name says I am in the beginning stages of a G-Pinto build. It has taken a back seat to things that happen in life like Fires,Floods and a small Jet accident. Gotta love So-Cal!!

I have just signed a lease for a empty shop in North Hollywood so I can get things back on track I hope.

About the car, Its a early Pinto hatchback that I am converting into a sedan. Its going to be powered by a 500ci Caddy/400 turbo. I have put a Jag rear end in it and will have ZO6 style wheels. I have ripped out the chassis I put in it a few months ago to rework it a bit. I want the car to sit low so it will be channeled a bit.

I will post pics tonight when I get home.

Welcome.

I remember seeing your car a while back over there. Looks like quite the project you're undertaking, and it should haul ass with that power to weight ratio!

We'll be wating for the pics.

Sounds like a cool build you got going there. A small Jet accident!! I bet you have stories.

Get us those pics and any other info on the build.

Welcome to the site!

Tim

Heres where I stand right now. Most of the floor is out now amd the frame rails are above the floor line. I figured it give me room to put the mufflers and such up under the car. I want the rockers pretty much the lowest part of the car.

Now that I have the shop it should be progessing a bit faster I hope.
